Sacramento State’s Hornet Racing club will host its second car show 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, May 15, in Parking Lot 8. The show is free to spectators. Door prizes, including an iPad, will be given.
The event is a fundraiser for the College of Engineering and Computer Science’s Hornet Racing Club. Each year, the student-run club builds and races a Formula SAE car at a collegiate competition sponsored by the Society of American Engineers.

The car show will feature classic vehicles, hot rods, show cars and motorcycles. The entrance fee for competitors is $15. Show registration is 11 a.m.-1 p.m., and judging begins after that. Trophies will be presented to winners, and the first 50 participants will receive a T-shirt. To register for the show, visit http://www.hornetracing.net.
