Q: Can I enroll in the program if I am not a Sac State student?

A: The program is intended for Sac State students, but CCE students may enroll in courses on a space-available basis.

Q: Can I enroll in the program if I am a graduate student?

A: Yes.

Q: Will I be at a disadvantage if I am not a CSC major and have little previous computer experience?

A: All of the courses are currently being offered to ALL Sac State students, and instructors agree that having students from a variety of backgrounds strengthens the courses. Of course some topics will be easier for those with previous experience, but the program is specifically designed for non-CSC majors as well as majors wanting to enhance their degrees.

Q: Is the program very technical?

A: The program and individual courses are designed so that students can emphasize either the design aspects of the Web, or the more technical aspects of managing a Web server.
