Activities
All majors must take a course in statistics, math, physics and ethics. Every graduating senior is required to complete a senior project which emphasizes the stages of the software development lifecycle. As a consequence of these and other major requirements, students have the opportunity to become very proficient in computer science.
Faculty in the Department also engage in research on various topics of interest to computer scientists and to the society, write papers based on their research, and present papers at professional meetings.
