Scholarship Information

Civil Engineering
Freshman Scholarship

Scholarships are available to full-time Civil Engineering majors. Applicants must be freshmen with no more than 60 units completed at Sacramento State and a minimum 2.8 overall grade point average. Applicants must have completed the following courses by the time the scholarship is awarded:

  • Math 30 (Calculus I) or AP Calculus Score of 4 or higher
  • Chem 1E (General Chemistry for Engineers)
  • CE 4 (Engineering Graphics)

To apply, complete the Scholarship Application Form and submit it with a current resume to the Civil Engineering Office (4024 Riverside Hall) by March 1st.

Scholarships are available through the ECS Dean's Office: http://ecs.csus.edu/scholarships. A few scholarships are also available for civil engineering students through Caltrans' Division of Human Resources. Please visit both sites and check in the Civil Engineering Office for all available scholarships.
